HELLO!!!
2 more days to zone comp. Can't really describe the feeling, since I'm not the one going for comp. I'm just a spectator. So I wish all of the squad 3 and squad 2 ambulance and nursings that are going for comp good luck.
The recent CCA was the day we had PTC. And I think a lot of parents went to complain about SJAB being too tough or we had too much CCA and trainings. Our squad IC asked us to stay back after CCA to talk to us and the session is seriously emo...
I hope that those who think that there are too much CCA and trainings can don't complain to your parents because we train for a reason. We train for the sake of zone comp. If your studies are affected by the trainings, then maybe you should focus on studying. But I wish you know that not only your studies are affected, ours too. Its just that we didn't say it out.
And for the CCA too tough part, I agree that CCA is not easy. But the whole squad is there for you. No matter how tough CCA is, the squad will always be there for you. And what we are doing now is so little compare to what the NCOs had done in the past, yet they survived. Now they are NCOs already.
4 years will be gone very quickly and soon, we will be graduating from AHS, from AHSJAB. Why don't we cherish the time we are spending together? After we endure through 4 years of SJAB, we can proudly tell others that We are from Anglican High St John Ambulance Brigade.
What we are learning now is what we can use for a lifetime. And I believe that the friends you make in SJAB will be with you for a very long time because St John not only teaches us first aid and homenursing, it also bond us, also let us be good friends with each other.
I think that what the ICs said is very correct. If we continue to complain to our parents and let them complain to the school, and the school accepts it, there will be no more SJAB. Maybe its good news to you, but have you ever thought of those people that loves this CCA? Have you ever thought that CCA is not as tough as you thought, its just that you choose not to work hard and try to blend yourself in? Maybe you will say" I have tried already! Its just that its too tough for me?!"
What about the rest of us? Don't we think that CCA is tough? Don't we feel like complaining sometimes? WE DO! But we decide not to say it out, its not because we are timid, it just that we want to try even harder, we want to be proud that we belong to this CCA.
What I'm saying now is not talking about anyone, its just that I feel that I need to tell you these. So I will not have any regrets in the future, because what I can do, I've done it already. I believe that you all won't bear to let 51 years of AHSJAB go down the drain.
Thanks for spending time to read this post. And I hope that what I have written, you will really try to understand it. Thanks again.
OKAY! THOSE WHO GOING FOR ZONE COMP 2 DAYS LATER! JIAYOUS!!! :D YOU ALL CAN DO IT! YOU ONLY HAVE ONE CHANCE! :D YAY!!! ^^

P.S Those who are going for zone comp dinner, you can leave early if your parents don't allow you to stay too late. Don't give your parents a chance to complain, okay? (:
